Welcome to the Yellow Springs Garden Tour!

Enjoy the beauty and varying styles of local gardens featuring native plants, pollinator gardens, lawn alternatives, vegetable gardens, and more!

Organized by members of the YS Garden Book Club and cosponsored by Agraria and Tecumseh Land Trust.

There are ten properties on the tour featuring unique elements that will both delight and inspire tour-goers! The goal of this tour is to stimulate interest in supporting native habitat; providing sustenance for birds, bees, and butterflies; growing vegetables; building soil health; creating lawn alternatives, and so much more! Peruse the map of gardens with accompanying descriptions and one will find villagers pursuing many interests and passions such as permaculture, prairie, and meadow habitats, herb and vegetable gardening, food preservation, pollinator gardens, composting, ducks, chickens, and beekeeping. Many of the properties are certified through the National Wildlife Foundation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. In addition to individual properties, an effort is underway to certify the Village of Yellow Springs. Villagers are encouraged to certify their property.
