Regenerative Farmer Fellowship

Encouraging, supporting and training farmers, with a special emphasis on BIPOC growers.

The original RF Fellowship was 25 weeks long and participants receive a stipend for $12-$15/hour, 10-20 hours per week to allow them to focus on regenerative farming practices and business development.

During this training, Farmer Fellows:

  • Built capacity for their own sites and growing operations

  • Participated in workshops focused on regenerative agricultural practices and business planning

  • Made connections and collaborate with farmers and organizations that support farmers

  • Toured successful farms and/or markets

Funding for our original program will end June 2024.

The RFF now offers frequent, publicly accessible workshops that are typically supported by Central State University’s 2501 program.

Workshops are open to the public and are offered for free or at low cost. Scholarships may also be available. They are held at the farms and gardens in the Dayton and Springfield area or at the Agraria farm. Previous workshops have covered hoop house construction, season extension, herb spirals, DIY vacuum seeders and more.

The Regenerative Farmer Fellowship (RFF) is a program of Agraria Center for Regenerative Practice in partnership with The Nature Conservancy and Central State University.
