Fall Youth Programs


EcoGrowers

Ages 6-12, Tuesdays 3-5pm, August 30- November 8

Please note there will be no EcoGrowers program on October 4.

EcoGrowers will be immersed in Agraria’s food growing spaces as they connect to the natural world, each other and their community. During these sessions, kids will participate in fun weekly garden and farm themed activities, observe and explore nature through a gardener’s lens, and build green growing skills.

Home School

Ages 6-13, Wednesdays, August 31- November 9 9am-2pm

Please note there will be no Home School program on October 5.

Registration for Fall Home School is full. Please email Education Administrator Maureen Fellinger at mfellinger@agrariacenter.org to get on the waiting list.

Through exploring, stories, play, adventure, traditional skills, and crafts, children are supported to develop a stronger connection to themselves, the natural world, and their community. Skills introduced include plant identification, soil science, foraging, seed collection, animal tracking, shelter building, fire safety, storytelling, and hazard awareness.

Forest Families

Ages 0-5 with an adult caregiver, Wednesdays 9:00-11:00am, August 31 - November 9

Please note there will be no Forest Families program on October 5.

Our Forest Families program is an opportunity for children and a caregiver to dig into Agraria and all we have to offer. We will play, share stories, enjoy sensory awareness activities, and engage in simple nature-based art together. Participants will share in local plant/animal knowledge, learn about seeds and soil, as well as obtain a glimpse into current building projects on our growing regenerative farm. Let's go play outside!

Trekkers

Ages 6-12, Thursdays 3-5pm, ​​September 1 - November 10 3-5p

Please note there will be no Trekkers program on October 6.

Through exploring, stories, play, adventure, traditional skills, and crafts, children are supported to develop a stronger connection to themselves, the natural world, and their community. Skills introduced include soils & plant identification, perennial plant foraging, wild tending, animal tracking, shelter building, fire safety, bird language, storytelling, and hazard awareness. Children will be immersed in the biodiverse landscape of our regenerative farm.
