Wildcrafting and Herbalism Workshop with Matthew Wood & Samuel Thayer--Registration Full

As of this morning (Feb 26), this entire weekend is completely full! We're very sorry if you didn't get tickets this time--please consider joining us for future events. We hope to offer the same class next year!

SAMUEL THAYER, a nationally recognized expert on wild edibles, will teach us about wild edible plants: their ecology, how to bring them into our everyday life, the art of responsible and sustainable foraging, and ways to prepare wild foods. Thayer has been teaching for more than two decades and is the award-winning author of The Forager’s Harvest, Nature’s Garden, and Incredible Wild Edibles. He will be teaching on Friday.

Through stories, case histories, discussion, and field ID, internationally-known clinical herbalist MATTHEW WOOD will bring to life the native medicinal herbs in our region, and practical ways to bring them home. Wood has a master’s degree in herbal medicine from the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine, is a professional member of the American Herbalist’s guild, and author of nine books. He will be teaching both Saturday and Sunday.

The workshop will be held from 10am to 5pm each day in the barn unless otherwise specified. Parking is designated to the grassy lot to the right of the farmhouse.

Tuition is $260 for the whole weekend if you register early or $320 after the early bird deadline. If you are unable to attend the whole weekend, inquire about 1 or 2-day ticket options.

The early bird deadline is March 1st, 2018
