Friends of Agraria Kickoff: Florentina’s Bday Bash Fundraiser
Come join us to kickoff our Friends of Agraria Campaign and celebrate Florentina’s Bday! Enjoy cake, live music from The Rong Brothers, and the opportunity to forage or harvest from the gardens.
FREE to attend but folks can choose to make a donation to support our Friends of Agraria campaign.
Donations go to support programs like Seed Saturdays, community potlucks, expanding our learning garden; installing new rain gardens, forage gardens, and food forests; maintaining walking paths around our pollinator habitat, and planting and propagating native plants.
Willow Harvesting Basket
Time to harvest! Learn to weave with willow with basketmaker Beth Bridgeman. In this two-day workshop, you'll learn to weave a beautiful and functional round willow basket to use as a gather basket, in the garden, or at the farmer's market.
THKLUVLTR 10 Year Celebration
Join Agraria’s Artist-in-Residence, Love’Yah Stewart, in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of her Black-owned, Woman-Owned business, THKLUVLTR.
Expect an evening of art, food, and community!

Seed Fest: Save the Date
Seed Fest. Come celebrate all things seed! We’ll have seed harvesting, demonstrations for cleaning & processing, seed-themed activities, and a traveling seed library walk along Mary’s Way.

Natural Nutrition 2-Day Train-the-Trainer Workshop
Natural Nutrition. Join Amy Wing, nature-based educator & curriculum designer, & Donnetta Boykin, community-based educator, farmer, and herbalist, for a two-day hands-on workshop based on Amy’s new Natural Nutrition Learning System.
Attendees will learn all aspects of the curriculum and leave feeling confident they can implement & adapt each lesson plan for a variety of uses. Perfect for homeschool, school garden, farm-2-school, and community-based educators or anyone looking to better understand how to make connections between plants, food, and health/wellness.

Community Potluck & Picnic. 1st Tuesday of the month, 6pm-8pm. We’ll be hosting in the barn, grilling out, and playing corn hole. Bring a dish, drink, dessert, or side to share, or feel free to pack a picnic and find a nice spot to enjoy being outside. We’ll be sharing refreshing summer drink recipes to help you stay cool and hydrated while you work in the garden. Attendees are welcome to tour the grounds and enjoy Mary’s Way. Our Seed Library will be open in the office for folks who’d like to get free seeds.

Intro to Mosaics workshop with Sister Trillium
The creatives at Sister Trillium will be hosting an Intro to Mosaics workshop in the barn on Sunday, May 31 from 1-4pm. Sliding scale registration $10-$50, ages 12 and up with adult. Email programs@sistertrillium.org to reserve a spot.

Natural Foods & Nutrition: Understanding Health-Giving Properties.
Join Donnetta Boykin, folk school educator, community herbalist, and farmer, along with Amy Wing, nature-based educator and curriculum designer, for hands-on activities from Amy’s new Natural Foods & Nutrition learning system.

Join us for our monthly potluck and discussion group. We meet the 1st Tuesday of each month in either the Agraria office or barn (depending on guest size and weather). Please call or text Florentina at (937) 581-4316 if you plan on attending.
Compost Pick-up (pre-order only)
Our partners at GoZERO are offering their food waste derived compost for pre-order to be picked up at Agraria on May 3 from 12pm to 4pm or by appointment after that.
Yellow Springs Community resource Fair
We’ll be at the Yellow Springs Community Resource fair sharing info about our seed library and The Lavender Project, a community-led agriCULTURE movement from Artist-in-Residence, Love’Yah Stewart.
