Friends of Agraria

We’ve got exciting things happening and we want to invite you to help grow our work!

So far this year we’ve installed water catchment systems on our barn and high tunnel, expanded our learning garden which supports fresh produce to three local food pantries, began installations on rain, forage, and shade gardens as well as a permaculture food forest; are turning our hoop house into a native nursery and propagation station, scheduled reskilling folk schools on a wide range of topics like herbal medicine, soap making, basket weaving, permaculture design, and natural nutrition; offered Farmer-2-Farmer peer learning opportunities and presented at soil health, regional resilience, and ecological farming conferences in collaboration with our Farmer Education Network; hosted a Bioregional Water Summit, created walking paths to our Blue Bird boxes and pollinator garden, opened a free seed library, and hosted or participated in a variety of community events like potlucks, resource fairs, and YS Earth Day.
